In addressing concerns in storage and distribution of vaccines including for COVID-19, SIRIM Standards Technology Sdn Bhd (SST) ensures the accuracy and uniformity of freezers are according to storage temperatures requirement. This helps to ensure the efficacy of the vaccines is upheld. SST also has the capability to perform calibration and verification to ascertain that temperature distribution throughout the entire freezer is even, as SST’s measurement and calibration facilities are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.
